12.17.20 Letter To Families and Friends

I hope you are doing well, Due to recently having 3 new Covid-19 positive patients in the facility, we have taken the initiative, and retested all patients and staff in the facility.

With the results in, we currently have 17 Covid positive patients and 18 positive staff. We take this very seriously and will continue doing our utmost to keep our patients and staff safe, by adhering to the strict DOH and CDC guidance. We hired a professional company to disinfect all areas in the facility, ensuring that we minimize the transmission of the disease .

We have designated a separate hall to be our COVID-19 unit, thereby separating our COVID-19 positives from the negatives with its designated team of nurses, CNAs, and Rehab staff, so as to prevent transmission throughout the facility. All staff are equipped with the necessary PPE (N95 masks, Gowns, Face Shields, and gloves).

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to either myself, Lavon Smith (Director Of Nursing), or Alexis Miller (assistant Director Of Nursing) and we’ll be happy to answer your questions.
